What are the costs of your services?

Do you offer phone or virtual consultations?

Yes! Dr. Olivia Leung, ND offers both in-person and virtual consultations, which can be done over the phone or through our secure telemedicine platform.

How do I start?

You can book a FREE 15-minute Discovery Consultation to learn more about how our services can help you achieve your health goals.

Will my appointment be covered by insurance?

Naturopathic consultations, Osteopathy and Acupuncture are covered by most extended health care plans. 

Please note that supplements, herbal products and lab tests may or may not be covered.

We always recommend calling your insurance company in advance to confirm your coverage.

Do you offer direct third-party billing?

Currently, we do not offer direct billing at Avena Health Clinic.

Once payment has been received at the end of your visit, you will be provided with a paper or electronic receipt with all the information required for submitting your claim. If you experience any issues, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

We accept Cash*, E-transfer*, Cheque and/or Credit Card.

* Please note that Te-Ming Leung only accepts Cash or E-transfer at this time.

How should I prepare for my visit?

Initial Naturopathic Consultation
We recommend you bring your most recent lab work and current supplement and medication list (if not specied on your intake forms). Please ensure that you’ve filled out the online intake forms prior to your visit. If not, come 15-20 minutes in advance to complete them on site.

Initial Skin Consultation & Facial Acupuncture

Please bring your current skincare products or a list of what you use. We recommend you come with minimal to no make-up. You can remove any makeup or facial products prior to your session.

Acupuncture & Osteopathy
We recommend wearing loose, athletic clothing, such as shorts, t-shirts and tank tops to allow for comfort and ease of accessing acupuncture points.

How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Life happens, so we want to be as flexible as possible. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or change a scheduled appointment.

In the event of an emergency or an illness, please notify us as soon as you can. If it is possible, we will try to find another time to reschedule the appointment the same week.

Please note that a Missed Appointment Fee of 50% of the cost of the session will be charged for any late cancellations or no-shows.

Where can I find you?

We are located in the Burnhamthorpe Professional Centre with the Life Labs at Burnhamthorpe and Dixie.

There is free surface and underground parking on the premise.

If you are coming from the East-end on Burnhamthorpe Road, then Google Maps will tell you to make a U-turn. To avoid this please turn left onto Dixie Road and make another left at the rst set of lights into the ‘Wista Plaza’. Head towards the back-left of the plaza behind the ‘Fruit Market’ and you will be able to access our parking lot.
